The Larkspur Sentinel is free.

Every issue, every month, for everyone in 80118. It’s been that way since 1977, and we’d like to keep it that way. But free to read doesn’t mean free to make. Printing, delivery, and the countless hours our volunteers put in every month all cost something.

The Larkspur Sentinel is not a registered nonprofit. Contributions are not tax-deductible — they’re simply neighbors helping neighbors keep local news alive.

Where the support goes

• Printing and distributing 200–300 physical copies each month
• Keeping the paper free for every household in 80118 — no paywall, no subscription fee
• Supporting the volunteers, contributors, and local writers who make the Sentinel what it is
• Covering the behind-the-scenes costs (hosting, layout, proofing) that don’t show up on the page but keep it running
